More comfort without changing the mattress.

Shūchū (集中) is, in Japanese, concentration. A solution for those who already have a mattress but want to improve the bed for the new routine: an extra layer of comfort, support for the head and protection, without replacing what is already there.

Who it is for

  • Those with a mattress that is too firm and want to soften it without replacing it
  • Mattresses starting to show signs of use but still structurally sound
  • Rented rooms and halls of residence, where the mattress is not yours
  • Those who want the greatest change in comfort for under 200 €

What it includes

Shizuka Mattress Topper — 5 cm high and medium firmness, combining memory foam and high-resilience foam to add a layer of gentle adaptation. The elastic straps allow secure fastening and the design helps distribute weight evenly.

Nobi Memory Foam Pillow — memory foam of medium firmness and high loft, which adapts to the contours of the head and neck. The perforated core aids air circulation.

Tsuwano Mattress Protector — terry fabric, breathable, anti-mite and waterproof. It protects the mattress from daily use.

Frequently asked questions

Does a topper really solve it, or is it postponing buying a mattress?
It depends on what is underneath. If the mattress is structurally sound but too firm, the topper solves it. If it already has dips or the support has given way, a topper follows the dip and does not correct it — in that case the Hirune or the Manabi is the right answer.

Shūchū or Kihon?
Kihon renews what dresses the bed. Shūchū changes how it feels to sleep in it. If the issue is appearance or hygiene, Kihon; if it is comfort, Shūchū.

Does the topper slip?
No. The Shizuka has elastic straps at the corners that fix it to the mattress, and the Tsuwano protector sits on top, holding the set in place.

Which sizes are available?
190x90 and 200x90 for single beds, 190x140 and 200x160 for double beds.

What is the warranty?
3 years on the topper, the pillow and the protector. The topper and the pillow have 100 nights of home trial.

Before you decide

A topper softens. It does not bring a mattress back to life.

If the room's mattress is too firm but still even, the Shizuka solves it. If there is already a dip where the body rests, the problem is the core — and in that case the Hirune or Manabi pack makes more sense, since they include a new mattress.

If in doubt, describe what you are feeling to Ana Cristina. In ten minutes she will tell you whether it is worth fine-tuning or replacing.
