What our customers say.
Who it is for
Why a protector is not optional
It is the cheapest piece on the bed and the one that protects the most expensive. A mattress cannot be washed — and a person sweats every night, over the ten-year life of a mattress.
What a protector prevents: sweat, skin cells and dust from reaching the core, where they stay. That is what makes a mattress smell and lose hygiene over the years, and it is also what feeds dust mites.
And what it preserves: the warranty. Stains on a mattress are grounds for warranty exclusion across most of the market — a 29 € protector protects a mattress worth several hundred and the cover attached to it.

Before you decide
Twenty-nine euros protect hundreds.
It is the best value-for-money purchase on the whole bed. A mattress cannot be washed, and stains are grounds for warranty exclusion across most of the market.
If the mattress is new, fit the protector before the first night — once it is stained, there is no going back.
Frequently asked questions
Before you order.
What is a mattress protector for?
To stop sweat, skin cells and dust from reaching the core of the mattress, which cannot be washed. It is what keeps the mattress hygienic over its ten-year life — and stains are grounds for warranty exclusion across most of the market.
Does it make noise or trap heat?
No. It is waterproof underneath and breathable on top: the membrane blocks liquids without blocking body vapour. It is not a plastic sheet.
What is the difference from the Kirishima and the Kanazawa?
The fabric. The Tsuwano is terry, the thickest and softest of the three — it adds softness to the surface. The Kirishima is thin, discreet cotton. The Kanazawa is Tencel, the most breathable.
Does it soften a firm mattress?
It softens the first contact, being terry fabric. It does not replace a topper — if the mattress is genuinely too hard, the Shizuka is 5 cm and solves it better.
What sizes are available?
Six, from 190x90 to 200x180.
How often should it be washed?
As often as your bedding. A protector that is never washed does not protect — it accumulates.
What is the warranty?
3 years, which is the warranty on Dreamura protectors.
