A mattress that did not exist in any catalogue — made for more than 200 beds
A European student residence group needed to renew more than 200 beds in Portugal, led by Lisbon and Porto, without giving up three things: mattresses for intensive use, flame-retardant fabric (EN 597) and made-to-measure sizes. No catalogue product answered all three. We designed an exclusive model from scratch, installed a sample in Carcavelos for approval, and only then went into series production.
From the showroom to room-by-room installation
A property management company wanted to see and touch before deciding: they came to our showroom in Lisbon. They left with 20 mattresses and 20 bed bases for a project in Leiria. We handled everything — production, delivery and installation — without the client managing suppliers. What counted most was not the order: it was the invitation to the projects that followed.

A hospitality and events institution wanted to renew the rest in its rooms with something that was theirs alone. We designed 15 mattresses to the measure of the property's needs and produced 60 two-tone duvets — pieces that came into existence because of it.

What certifications do Dreamura mattresses hold for hospitality?
Mattresses for professional use comply with EN 597-1 and EN 597-2 — cigarette and match-flame resistance, the two scenarios an inspection tests. To that we add Oeko-Tex Standard 100 on the textiles and CertiPUR-EU on the foams. We provide the certificates in PDF, with the batch number, before signing.
What is the minimum quantity to equip a property?
There is no minimum quantity. We start with one property. Many clients start with a single room to test and expand afterwards.
Do you make mattresses in sizes outside the catalogue?
Yes. We manufacture ourselves, in our own factory, so atypical sizes — antique beds, attics, boats, irregularly shaped rooms — are handled in normal production, with no significant extra lead time.
How long do production and delivery take?
Standard production of 1 to 2 weeks for volume, and a 5-working-day fast track when there is a date that cannot move. Delivery is dedicated and carried out room by room, across mainland Portugal and the islands, with assembly and removal of the old units.
What warranty do the mattresses carry in professional use?
In professional use the warranty is 3 years. It differs from the domestic-use warranty because the wear cycle differs too.
What happens if there is a manufacturing defect?
The replacement is made within 48 hours of confirmation, taking the room out of service no longer than necessary.
What payment terms do you offer to companies?
Net 60 on open account, after validation. Invoice with VAT itemised.
How long does it take to receive a quote?
The same working day. We need the number of rooms, the room types and the sizes, and we return a closed price table with the certifications attached.
Do you work with interior decorators and architects?
Yes, through the Dreamura Trade Programme, with specific terms, production priority and samples for project specification.
