★★★★★5,02 reviews- Samurai mattress, 30 cm, the firmest in the range + Sendai bed base + Kyoto headboard
- Full support, for medium-to-heavy weight and back sleepers
- The only Complete Bedroom that does not include bedding
About this set
A whole bedroom in a single decision, built around the firmest mattress in the range.
Samurai (侍) is the guardian. It is the tallest Dreamura mattress — 30 cm, a hybrid of pocket springs and high-resilience foam, high firmness. It was made for those who need full support: medium-to-high weight, couples where both partners are heavy, or anyone who has simply never got on with soft mattresses.
What is included
- Samurai mattress — hybrid of pocket springs + high resilience, 30 cm, high firmness
- Sendai bed base with storage — lift-up opening, gains space under the bed
- Kyoto headboard — 4 vertical lines, minimalist design
Unlike the other five sets, this one does not include bedding — it is three pieces: mattress, base and headboard.
Who it is for
- For those who need firm support and do not find it in mattresses of ordinary height.
- For couples of medium-to-high weight — the pocket springs give point by point and do not pass movement from one side to the other.
- For those who sleep on their back and want the pelvis stabilised.
- For those who need storage: the Sendai lifts up and uses the whole area under the bed.
- Less suitable for light sleepers who always sleep on their side: there the high firmness presses on the shoulder, and the Takumi works better.
Features
- 30 cm mattress — the tallest in the range
- Pocket springs with high-resilience foam, high firmness
- Bed base and headboard in water-repellent fabric, 4 standard colours: taupe, grey, anthracite and white
- Made in Portugal
The six Complete Bedroom sets, side by side
All share the same structure — mattress, base and headboard. The mattress changes, and with it the sleeper profile:
| Set | Mattress | Base + headboard | Includes bedding | From |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mizu (Nara) | Springs + high resilience, 23 cm, high firmness | Nara bed base + Osaka headboard | Yes | 909 € |
| Kumo | High resilience, 20 cm, medium firmness | Sendai with storage + Kyoto | Yes | 1069 € |
| Mizu (Sendai) | Springs + high resilience, 23 cm, high firmness | Sendai with storage + Kyoto | Yes | 1199 € |
| Hisui | High resilience + memory foam, 26 cm, firm | Sendai with storage + Kyoto | Yes | 1229 € |
| Takumi | Springs + memory foam + high resilience, 26 cm, medium | Sendai with storage + Kyoto | Yes | 1279 € |
| Samurai | Hybrid of springs + high resilience, 30 cm, high firmness | Sendai with storage + Kyoto | No | 1339 € |
Samurai is the tallest and firmest mattress of the six, and the only set that does not include bedding — that is why the price gap to the Takumi set is smaller than the gap between the two mattresses.

Frequently asked questions
Does it come with sheets, pillows or a duvet?
No. This set is three pieces: mattress, bed base and headboard. If you want the bed dressed, the Shitaku brings the full bedding separately.
Is 30 cm too tall?
It depends on the base. On the Sendai bed base the bed sits high, which is comfortable for anyone who struggles to get up from low beds. Check the total height if you have low ceilings or a headboard you want to rest pillows against.
Which sheets fit a 30 cm mattress?
Dreamura fitted sheets adjust; the Kihon has elastic all the way around. On mattresses of this height, a fitted sheet sits tighter than on a 20 cm one.
Can I choose the colour?
Yes. Bed base and headboard in taupe, grey, anthracite or white. The colour is confirmed when the order is finalised.
What if the firmness is not right?
You have 100 nights to test the mattress at home. If the mattress does not suit you, we collect it free of charge.

Before you decide
Thirty centimetres change the height of the bed.
The Samurai is the tallest mattress in the range. Added to the Sendai bed base, the surface sits considerably higher than usual — which many people love and some find a problem. Measure before ordering.
Also consider the sheets: a 30 cm mattress needs fitted sheets with a deep skirt. Since this set does not include bedding, it is a choice you need to make on purpose.
Frequently asked questions
Before you order.
What exactly comes in the Complete Bedroom Samurai?
Samurai mattress, 30 cm, Sendai storage bed base and Kyoto headboard. Bedding not included — it is the only one of the six Complete Bedrooms with no sheets, duvet or protector.
Why does this one not include bedding?
Because it was built around the mattress, the priciest in the range. The price reflects that. If you want bedding, the Shitaku set includes protector, sheets, duvet and pillows, from €249.
Who is the 30 cm high firmness suited to?
Typically medium-to-heavy weight and anyone who feels mattresses sag in the middle. Also back sleepers who want support with no sinking.
What sheets fit a 30 cm mattress?
Fitted sheets with a deep skirt, matching the 30 cm plus enough margin to tuck underneath. Confirm the height stated on the sheets before buying.
What sizes are available?
Four: 200x90, 190x140, 200x140 and 200x160.
Are the warranties the same on every piece?
No: 10 years on the mattress, 3 years on the bed base and headboard.
What is the difference from the Complete Bedroom Hisui?
The Hisui is 26 cm, springless, and includes bedding. The Samurai is 30 cm, has pocket springs, is firmer and does not include bedding. Both are high firmness.
