Frequently asked questions
What is the difference from pocket springs?
Bonnel springs are linked to one another: firmer, more durable, less adaptable. Pocket springs are independent: more comfort and less motion transfer.
What does orthopaedic mean?
High firmness with uniform support of the spine. It is not a medical claim. For clinical conditions, speak to your doctor.
Is it noisy like old springs?
Barely. Modern Bonnel springs have a treatment that reduces the sound, but they are noisier than pocket springs. Anyone sensitive to noise should see the Sora or the Takumi.
Sumo or Sumo Plus?
The firmness is the same. The Plus has a memory foam layer on top that softens the contact, and 4 cm more height. If you want pure firmness, Sumo.
Is it suitable for couples?
It is, but linked springs transmit more movement. If one of you is a light sleeper, the Mizu or the Takumi handle that better.
