Construction
Twelve centimetres, and nothing more.
Hirune (昼寝) is the nap: short, functional rest. The simplest mattress we make.

Breathable fabric
With antibacterial and anti-dust mite treatment. It is the same fabric as the top of the range.

High resilience foam
A single layer. It recovers its shape between nights instead of sagging after a year, which is what separates a good foam from a cheap one.

12 cm high
Thin on purpose. It fits high slatted bases and divan bases where a 25 cm mattress would leave the bed too high.

What it does not have
No springs, no memory foam, no comfort layers. For prolonged daily use, the Kumo or the Kaizen are more suitable.

Frequently asked questions
Is 12 cm too thin?
For a main bed in daily use, it is thin. It works well for guests or on high slatted bases. For daily use, see the Kumo or the Kaizen.
How does it compare to the Kumo?
The same medium firmness and the same high resilience foam. The Kumo is 20 cm instead of 12 and is designed for daily use. The Hirune is thinner and cheaper.
Is it good for a guest bed?
That is what most customers buy it for. Hard-wearing, easy to maintain and with the same anti-dust mite fabric as the top of the range.
Will it work on a bunk bed or a student bed?
It will. The reduced height is an advantage on bunk beds, where a tall mattress leaves your head close to the base above.
Does it have the same warranty as the other mattresses?
It does. Ten years, like the whole Dreamura mattress range.
