For many, summer means holidays. Whether it's a weekend getaway or a family vacation, this is the season when we spend more nights away from our own bed. And with that comes the challenge: how to ensure a good night's sleep away from home?

1. Bring comfort with you

The secret lies in the small details. A familiar pillow or even a t-shirt that smells like home are simple elements that help the body recognise an environment as safe and fall asleep more easily.

2. Maintain your sleep routine

Away from home, everything changes. The sounds, the light, the mattress, the schedules. Therefore, maintaining a routine helps the body find balance. Disconnecting from screens and going to sleep at the same time or setting aside 5 minutes to take deep breaths before bed are habits that adapt to any place and can make a difference.

3. Pay attention to the details of the space

Not all accommodations consider sleep with the care it deserves. If you can, choose spaces that value comfort: quality mattresses, good ventilation and silence. But when that's not possible, there are simple solutions like an eye mask, earplugs or even an extra towel under the sheet to soften the mattress.

Sleeping well shouldn't depend on the address. Because rest is the starting point for enjoying your days more. But of course: when you return, your bed will seem like the best place in the world.
