The part of manufacturing that no one photographs for ads is inspection. It's also the one that most prevents returns. Let me show you what we do.
Stitching: where a mattress gains or loses years
The topstitching that closes the mattress is done by machine, but guided by hand. The thread tension, the alignment of the layers, the finishing of the corners — all of this decides whether a mattress lasts 10 years or starts to sag after two.
Materials seen before they go in
Foams arrive in blocks and are cut here. Rolls of fabric and wadding are inspected before going to the machine. A sewing thread might seem like a small detail; multiplied by thousands of stitches, it's what separates a well-made item from a complaint a year later.
