A forma como acordamos diz muito sobre a qualidade do nosso sono

The way we wake up says a lot about the quality of our sleep.

Waking up is much more than just opening your eyes. It is a direct reflection of the quality of rest we had during the night. Some wake up feeling light, with mental clarity and calm energy. Others wake up feeling heavy, tense, or with the sensation that their body never truly rested. These differences are not random — they are a mirror of the depth and continuity of sleep.

Restorative sleep consists of cycles that repeat throughout the night, alternating between lighter and deeper phases, responsible for the recovery of the body and brain. When these phases occur in a balanced way, we wake up feeling renewed.

When we wake up tired, irritable, sluggish, or with muscle pain, the body is sending a clear signal: the rest was not enough or not truly deep. Fragmented sleep, sleep that is too short, or sleep marked by micro-awakenings leaves the body in a constant state of alert.

How we wake up is, therefore, one of the simplest and most reliable tools to assess our rest. It could be the light, the temperature, stress, posture, the mattress, or even the pillow. Often, small changes completely transform the quality of rest.

Because the truth is simple: the day begins when we go to sleep. And how we live it depends, almost always, on how we wake up.
