Construction
Nobi (伸び) is extension.
It adapts to the neck without resisting it. Pure memory foam, with no technical layers.
-
1
Perforated core
The memory foam has holes through its full thickness. That is what sets it apart from a soft memory foam: it lets the air out.
-
2
Medium firmness, high loft
The combination that fills the gap between head and shoulder for someone who sleeps on their side.
-
3
Polyester pillowcase
Simple and hard-wearing. The pillow itself is not machine washable.
Nobi, Kaiteki or Yawara?

What the Advisor says
“I just want a good memory foam pillow, without complications.”
This is the pillow I recommend to anyone who tells me that. A perforated core so it breathes, a simple cover, the right firmness. No cooling agents or gels — those who do not need them appreciate the price.
— Ana Cristina, Sleep Advisor
- 18 to 24 monthsThat is the useful life of a pillow. After that it loses its shape and stops supporting, however good it was.
- 7 to 14 nights of adaptationA new pillow always feels strange for the first nights. Alternating with the old one delays the adaptation.
- Not a substitute for medical adviceIn case of diagnosed neck pain or severe pain, talk to your doctor or physiotherapist.
Frequently asked questions

The Nobi is a normal memory foam pillow. The Kaiteki is ergonomic, with a specific shape. For general use, Nobi. For persistent neck pain, Kaiteki.
Nobi or Yawara?
The Yawara has flakes mixed with memory foam. The Nobi is pure perforated memory foam — more consistent, less mouldable by hand.
Does it get hot?
Less than an unperforated memory foam, but more than feathers or fibres. For hot summers, see the Sui or the Shinsen.
How long does it take to adapt?
7 to 14 nights. Use it for ten nights in a row before deciding.
Is it machine washable?
The pillow is not. Use a pillowcase and wash the pillowcase.
