The Sendai's top lifts from the front. If there is a wardrobe, a chest of drawers or a wall less than half a metre from the foot of the bed, the storage becomes hard to use — and the storage is the only reason to pay more for this base.
Also measure the door and stairwell: it arrives assembled, which is an advantage at home and a limitation on the way in.
