Frequently asked questions
Himeji or Okinawa? These are the two bases without visible legs. The Okinawa sits on the floor and creates the floating effect; the Himeji has a medium profile, sits slightly higher and is easier to lift to clean underneath.
Himeji or Tapi Kobe? The Tapi Kobe is the essential base and the cheapest in the range. The Himeji adds profile and upholstered presence. The construction — steel and slats — is the same in both.
Does it come assembled? Yes, it arrives ready to use.
Does it work with any mattress? Yes. The slatted top works with spring or foam mattresses, in any of the available sizes.
Do I need a slatted base on top? No. The slatted top already does that job and ventilates the mattress from below.
