Does a topper fix an old mattress?

No, if the problem is the structure. There is a simple test: take off the sheets and look at the mattress from the side, at eye level. If the surface line is straight, a topper solves it; if it is curved, what solves it is a new mattress.

What is the difference from the Shizuka?

The thickness and firmness. The Nemuke is 8 cm and low firmness, and really transforms a mattress that is too firm. The Shizuka is 5 cm and medium firmness, and only fine-tunes the feel of a bed that is already good.

Will my sheets still fit?

Eight centimetres add to the mattress height, and that is quite a lot. With a 26 cm mattress, you will need deep-pocket fitted sheets. Check the allowed height before ordering.

Does it fit my mattress?

Yes. The fixing straps at the corners fit any mattress height.

Can it be used on only one side of the bed?

Yes, and that is one of the most common uses — in couples where one person wants more comfort than the other.

How long does it last?

Typically replaced every 3 to 5 years. Turning it every three months spreads the wear.

Does it replace a new mattress?
It replaces the comfort, not the structure. If your current mattress still has good structure but is too firm, Nemuke solves it. If the structure is sagging, you need a new mattress.

Does it get very warm?
Memory foam gets warmer than springs. In hot climates, pair it with cotton or linen sheets.
