Does cotton protect against liquids?
Yes. It has an inner waterproof layer invisible to the touch. The surface you feel is cotton; the barrier is underneath.

Does it withstand frequent washing?
Yes. It's designed for heavy household use. Washing 1-2 times a month at 40-60°C doesn't degrade the fabric.

Does it fit a 30 cm mattress?
Yes. The elastics adjust to mattresses from 14 to 30 cm.
