Mochi (餅) is a traditional Japanese pastry — a pounded rice cake that combines elasticity and softness. It was the inspiration for this pillow: viscoelastic with foam flakes, it adapts to the head while maintaining volume.

Does it get very warm?
Like all viscoelastic, it gets warmer than feathers or natural fibers. For hot summers, consider Shinsen or Sui.
