Kotone (琴音) is Japanese for "the sound of the koto" — the string instrument heard in stillness. It was designed for a baby's first months: simple, firm, safe.
It is our most affordable baby mattress. Foam with medium firmness, 8 cm high, breathable fabric with temperature regulation. For standard cots.

Can it be used from the first days?
Yes. Check that the mattress size matches the cot exactly, with no gap between the mattress and the sides — a universal safety recommendation for infant sleep.
How does it compare to Suzu?
Suzu is 11 cm (thicker) and slightly more expensive. Kotone is 8 cm and more affordable. For use from birth, both work; Suzu stays comfortable for longer.
Does it need a protector?
We always recommend one. Babies spill, bring up milk, leak — a waterproof mattress protector extends the life of the mattress and keeps it hygienic.
Does it have specific certifications?
