300 g/m² in siliconised fibre. It is medium weight: it works for mid-season, and winter in homes with the heating on.

300 or 350 g/m² — which to choose?

It depends on the home, not the season. With continuous heating, 300 g/m² is enough all year round. Without heating, or in a north-facing room, the 350 g/m² Yume makes more sense. A duvet that is too warm makes you throw it off in the middle of the night.

Does it come with a cover?

No. It is sold without a cover, and the sizes match the commercial cover sizes in Portugal. The Pākēru, Saten and Norudikku covers each come in five colours.

What is siliconised fibre?

Fibre whose filaments are coated, which makes them slide instead of tangling. That is what keeps the volume after repeated washes, instead of the filling clumping together.

What are the stitched squares for?

They divide the filling into compartments, so it does not migrate or build up on one side. That is what prevents cold spots — in a duvet without compartments the fibre shifts with use.

Can it go in the washing machine?

Yes, at 30°C, with drying at a low temperature. With a cover, the duvet only needs washing a few times a year.

How long does it last?

5 to 7 years in normal domestic use, keeping its thermal properties, as long as it is washed correctly.
