Why 50% cotton and 50% polyester
The blend dries faster, creases less and withstands more washes than pure cotton. In exchange, it breathes less. It is a maintenance choice, not a thermal comfort one: on beds changed every week, that difference shows more than the handle. For those who get warm at night or always sleep in the same bed, the 100% cotton percale of the Pākēru, Kiyo and Neru lines is cooler.

Frequently asked questions
Is the 50/50 worth it, or is 100% cotton the better choice?
It depends on use. On frequently changed beds, the 50/50 dries faster and creases less, and that difference shows every week. On the main bed of someone who gets warm at night, 100% cotton percale is cooler and justifies the price difference.
Does it need ironing?
Less than pure cotton. Polyester recovers its shape as it dries, which reduces creasing.
Which size should I choose?
By the width of the bed, not the mattress: 90 cm or 140/160 cm. If in doubt between two measurements, choose the larger one.
What comes in the set?
Fitted sheet, flat sheet and pillowcase(s), depending on the size chosen. The duvet and duvet cover are sold separately.
Can I buy only the fitted sheet?
Yes. The Kihon Fitted Sheet is the same 50/50 fabric, fitted, at 29 €.
Is there a matching duvet cover?
Not in the same line. The most affordable cover is the Norudikku, in 100% cotton, 200 thread count, from 49 €.
