Both covers are 100% cotton. What changes is the weave, and that is what you feel against the skin — more than the thread count.
Sateen — the threads pass over several before crossing. It gives a smoother surface, with a soft sheen and soft touch, and holds a little more warmth. It wrinkles less than percale.
Percale — the threads cross one by one. It gives a matte fabric, dry and cool to the touch, that breathes more.
This cover is 300 thread count sateen — the softest fabric in the range.

A cover that is too big lets the duvet bunch up at one end; a cover that is too tight compresses the filling and takes away its warmth. Check the size of the duvet you have before choosing.

What is the difference between sateen and percale?

Which should I choose if I run warm at night?
In that case, percale — the Pākēru line — breathes more. Sateen holds a little more warmth, which is an advantage in winter and a disadvantage in summer.
Is 300 threads better than 200?
Only if you are comparing fabrics of the same weave. A 300 thread count sateen is not better than a 200 thread count percale — it is different. Above 400 threads the number stops meaning much.
What sizes are available?
Three: beds of 90, 140/160 and 180 cm.
Does it need ironing?
Almost never. Sateen wrinkles less than percale.
