Is the frame really solid wood?

Yes. It is not particleboard or MDF. That is what allows the headboard to be re-upholstered later — particleboard does not hold up to repeated staples and crumbles where the staple went in.

What does re-upholsterable mean?

That you can change the fabric while keeping the frame. When the fabric wears out or stains, the cost is the fabric and labour, not a new headboard.

Which width should I choose?

The mattress width: 90, 140, 160 or 180 cm. Not the base's, which can be slightly wider.

To the wall or to the base, depending on the bed base model. Check your wall type — plasterboard needs specific wall plugs.

Does it match the Dreamura bases?

It does. The headboards come in the same four colours as the bases and are sold to match.

What is the difference from the other headboards in the range?

The design. The Tokyo is the most affordable of the seven; the frame, hand upholstery, ability to re-upholster and the four widths are the same across all of them.

Vacuum with a soft brush. Treat stains immediately with a damp cloth and neutral soap, without scrubbing.

Before deciding

The headboard is the piece you see first and replace last.

It is the largest visible surface in the room and the one that sets the tone. It is also the one that stays when the mattress is replaced — a mattress lasts ten years, a solid wood headboard outlasts several mattresses.

That is why it is worth choosing by the frame and not just the fabric: the fabric can change, the frame cannot.
